The tasks of the LuBB around the aviation personnel

The Civil Aviation Authority Berlin-Brandenburg (LuBB) is dedicated to a variety of aviation administration tasks and contributes to ensuring safe air traffic.

This includes providing the LuBB with advice and assistance to aviation participants and Approved Training Organizations (ATOs) in acquiring and exercising licence to operate an aircraft as private aeroplane pilots, private helicopter pilots, sailplane pilots, and balloon pilots. At the same time, however, the LuBB must monitor that airmen and approved training organizations respect and implement the applicable regulations.

In this context, the LuBB actively provides information such that pilots and training organizations are always informed about the current legal and procedural situation, and no regulatory correction becomes necessary.
